PREPARE PROJECT SITES FOR MAY DAY DEMONSTRATIONS

Multiple demonstrations are expected to take place Monday, May Day, for International Workers' Day. In anticipation of rallies drawing large crowds, prepare your site prior to Monday morning:

  • Secure all materials that could become a projectile, or be misused

  • Remove all construction debris from accessible Right-of-Way areas

  • Limit project activity, if possible, including travel to/from your project site

  • Pull in signs and trash/recycling bins, and stabilize all fencing

  • Place signage required for safety on plastic rather than metal stands if feasible

  • Close and lock dumpsters together, or to a building, for the day
